Constable McMullen’s died Tuesday, though his cause of death has not been publicly disclosed.
“Wayne served Stephens County with quiet strength, unwavering dedication, and deep integrity. As a constable, a law enforcement officer, and a loyal friend, he gave selflessly to this community and the people he so proudly served,” the Stephens County Sheriff’s Office says.
Stephens County officials are asking for thoughts and prayers for Constable McMullen’s partner Dina and mother Pat.
McMullen is the only Constable listed on the Stephen’s County Sheriff’s Office website.
