On April 13, officers were called to the 600 block of North Court Street for reports of a robbery. The victim told authorities that four people grabbed him in an alley in the 400 block of North Court and demanded his money.
Surveillance footage showed the victim being held up, robbed and thrown to the ground, officials reported.
After further investigation, officers determined Westbrook Jr. and Smith to be two of the four suspects. They both were wanted on unrelated warrants.
Both of the suspects in custody told authorities the victim bought crack cocaine for the group and did not divide it up evenly, so the group took the drugs back.
The victim told police he had bought the drugs far before they attacked him and he had never seen them before.
Westbrook Jr. and Smith are both charged with robbery.
The two other suspects are still at large.
