INDIANAPOLIS — Engines are firing up at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway as the countdown to the 109th Running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge officially begins with the Indy 500 Open Test, taking place Wednesday and Thursday this week.
Fans can watch the action for free, as drivers hit the iconic oval for Rookie Orientation Program, refresher sessions, qualifying simulations, and full-field practice. Spectators are welcome in the Turn 2 Mounds and Southeast Vista grandstands, with free parking in Lot 3P and ADA-accessible parking and seating also available.
