$20K worth of stolen Dick’s Sporting Goods merchandise recovered in South Bay: authorities

(KRON) — Approximately $20,000 worth of stolen merchandise from Dick’s Sporting Goods was recovered over the weekend, the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety (SDPS) announced Monday. Two people were arrested in connection to the theft that happened on Saturday at the store on El Camino Real.

SDPS officers were dispatched to Dick’s Sporting Goods about a shoplifting in progress. Authorities learned that an unidentified male and female suspect tried to steal $2,000 worth of merchandise from the store, the law enforcement agency said.
