Toddler death investigation ongoing in White County

According to a release, Illinois State Police was requested for assistance by the White County Sheriff’s Office just before 1 p.m. on Friday.

We’re told the child was a 2-year-old and the Child Death Investigative Task Force was also brought on for the investigation.
