Mudbugs fall in Game 2 of the South Division Semifinals

SHREVEPORT, LA (KTAL/KMSS) — After a going into a third overtime period in game one against the Ice Rays on Friday, the Mudbugs hosted Corpus Christi for game two on Saturday night.

Unlike game one, both teams were quick to put goals on the board, with the game tied at one early into the first period.

But that was the only offense of the game until late in the third period, when the Ice Rays tacked on two more goals giving them a 3-1 victory.

The Mudbugs next travel to Corpus Christi and play again on Monday.
