The remainder of Monday should be dry for Chicagoland following overnight showers. The mostly cloudy conditions of the morning and midday will clear a bit toward the evening hours.
We’ll have continued breezy conditions with sustained winds from the west at 20-25 mph gusting up to about 35 mph. Expect high temps in the mid-50s.
Winds will die down by tonight, leaving some calmer conditions in place for Tuesday.
A low pressure system parked to the northwest of Chicagoland will give us several chances this week for disturbances to pass through. Tuesday will be partly cloudy with another chance for spotty showers throughout the day. Temperatures may reach into the low-70s. Cooler lakeside.
There’s a chance for some thunderstorm activity late Tuesday into Wednesday, and then another chance for spot showers on Wednesday afternoon.
