That vicious throw-down was recognized as the best dunk of the season by the NBA on Friday.
In a post on X, the NBA counted down the top 10 dunks of the regular season, with Sharpe’s slam coming in at the top spot.
The top-ranked dunk took place in the second quarter when Sharpe stole a pass in the backcourt, took one dribble, elevated and then flushed it over Washington’s Justin Champagnie.
The Blazers won the contest 129-121. Sharpe led Portland with 36 points.
