Summary: Temperatures are on the warmer side of the scale with breezy winds adding moisture to the mix out ahead of a cold front and dry-line combination. Percent chance is better for the heartland through late evening into Sunday evening. Early Saturday morning could start off mostly sunny with peaks of sunshine in between clouds with pop up rain showers by mid afternoon with strong to severe storms through Saturday evening with a squall line pushing the front from west to east increasing the chance for damaging winds for our central and eastern counties with a flooding concern through early Sunday morning. While with a squall line the storms don’t hold a great chance for a tornado there can be brief spin-up possible in the line.
Today: Mostly cloudy, warm and windy with a storm chance by late evening. High Temperature: 89° Winds: S 15 G 25 MPH
Tonight: Mostly cloudy with a chance for showers and thunderstorms. Low Temperature: 65° Winds: S 15 MPH
