Jeep crashes into porch outside Kokomo

KOKOMO, Ind. — No injuries were reported after a Jeep crashed into the porch of a home in Center, a small unincorporated community just outside Kokomo.

The Taylor Township Fire Department responded to the crash early Thursday morning at a home located just a few blocks from Taylor High School.

Photographs show the Jeep parked on the front porch of the home after somehow leaving the roadway and smashing through the porch railing. Support beams were damaged, requiring firefighters to shore up the porch roof before the vehicle could be removed.

Fortunately, neither the driver nor any residents of the home were injured.

The cause of the crash has not been released.
