Body found in Willamette River north of St. Johns Bridge on Friday

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – A body was discovered in the Willamette River north of the St. Johns Bridge on Friday, according to Portland Fire and Rescue.

Crews reported to the river near Terminal 4 of the Port of Portland around 3:50 p.m. after receiving a call that a body had been found in the water.

PF&R has since confirmed to KOIN 6 News that a fireboat arrived to confirm the body, but the identity remains unknown.
