KENTWOOD, La. (WGNO) — Deputies with the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office are searching for a man in the Kentwood area who is wanted in connection with an April 5 fatal shooting investigation.
According to the TPSO, Willie Wells Jr. is wanted in connection with the shooting death, which reportedly occurred on Mount Hennan Cut Road. He faces charges of first-degree murder, armed robbery and felon in possession of a firearm.
Law enforcement officials said they are looking for Wells in the area of Highway 440 and Highway 1054 near the Tangipahoa River Bridge.
Residents in the area are asked to call 911 if they see him.
