MCCSC enrollment open for summer programs
BLOOMINGTON, IND. — The Monroe County Community School Corporation (MCCSC) is now enrolling for summer programs for all grades. Many families of 4-year-old Pre-K students will qualify for free or very low tuition costs to attend the “Little Explorers” EdVenture Camp, thanks to public support for MCCSC’s 2023 Referendum.
Families can contact school counselors to register for high school programs:
Virtual Camp, June 2-26, offers students in grades K-8 to practice their math and reading skills virtually through Edmentum products: Study Island, Math Seeds, and/or Reading Eggs. Schools will send registration instructions home via Parent Square.
EdVenture Camp offers science-themed sessions June 2 – July 24 for students entering Pre-K (4-year-olds) through 8th grade. The “Little Explorers” EdVenture Camp for Pre-K and Kindergarten students offers age-appropriate activities including arts and crafts, music, story time, games, water play, and more. A limited number of scholarships are available. To qualify for scholarships, for K-8th grade students, families must have received MCCSC Free/Reduced meals during the 2024-2025 school year. Pre-K students whose family incomes are 225% or less of the federal poverty level are eligible to attend for free, through MCCSC’s 2023 Referendum.
