Police arrest man accused of Baton Rouge shooting that left 1 dead
BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — Police arrested a suspect accused of shooting and killing a man who was found dead by his friends.
Joshua Mancusi-Ungaro, 19, was charged with second-degree murder and illegal use of weapons in connection with the April 6 shooting death of Kevan Dale Evans, 40.
According to Baton Rouge police, Evans was found dead with multiple gunshot wounds in the 3900 block of Geronimo Street near Plank Road after his friends went to do a welfare check on him.
