The incident occurred just before 8:45 a.m. on Thursday, April 17 at a home on Jacks Place just off of Old Fannin Road near Flowood.
Investigator Tyler Burnell, with the Rankin County Sheriff’s Office, said the stabbing victim was hospitalized. He said when deputies arrived at the scene, they encountered a second victim at the home and detained multiple suspects.
After the scene was secured, the second victim was treated by medical staff and also transported to a local hospital.
Burnell said the suspects have yet to be identified due to the fact that all parties involved are non-English speaking.
This is an active scene and ongoing investigation.
