A special ribbon cutting ceremony and celebration will be held this week by the city of Yellville. The ceremony is scheduled for Thursday at noon to present murals painted by local artist Duane Hada of Rivertown Gallery.

The murals demonstrate the community’s support, recognition and conservation of the wild turkey and the native smallmouth bass. Hada is a lifelong resident of Marion and Newton counties, and this is a celebration of the wild turkey.
