Dogs in the ballpark: The Birmingham Barons’ first Wet Nose Wednesday of the season

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) – The first Wet Nose Wednesday of the season at Regions Field for the Birmingham Barons is in the book. Barons fans got to bring their dogs with them to the game.

First-time pups and seasoned vets were out for the first Wet Nose Wednesday of the season. Autumn Ward brought out her three-year-old dog, Olsen. She says she’s excited to get him out of the house and socialize him at the ballpark.

“We’re big baseball fans. Bring him to the park, see how he does and so far, he seems to be doing good!” Ward said. “Possibly chaotic, but probably really fun for just different dogs, especially if they’re well-behaved.”

The Barons will be playing at home every night through Sunday. You can find more event details for this season of the Barons here.
