Cuban-American actor William Levy arrested in Florida for disorderly intoxication and trespassing

On Monday night, April 14, Cuban-American actor William Levy was arrested in Weston, Florida, on charges of disorderly intoxication and trespassing

The 44-year-old, known for his roles in telenovelas such as “Café con aroma de mujer” and his participation in “Dancing with the Stars,” was taken into custody after allegedly causing a disturbance at Baires Grill, an Argentinian restaurant.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, Levy was “highly intoxicated and causing a disturbance inside the restaurant.” Despite being given multiple orders to leave by deputies, he refused to comply and was subsequently arrested.

Levy was booked into the Broward County Main Jail and appeared in bond court on Tuesday afternoon, where a judge set his bond at $500. He was released later that evening.

Upon his release, Levy addressed reporters, stating that he was attempting to deescalate an argument between others when he was arrested.

This incident adds to a series of personal challenges for Levy. In 2024, his ex-partner, actress Elizabeth Gutiérrez, confirmed their separation after 20 years together. The couple has two children, and previous reports have highlighted domestic disputes and concerns over Levy’s behavior.

Levy’s arrest underscores the complexities of public figures navigating personal struggles under the spotlight. As the legal process unfolds, it remains to be seen how this incident will impact his career and personal life.
