Anderson County public safety officials announce helpful resource for flood victims

ANDERSON COUNTY, Ky. (FOX 56) — The Anderson County Department of Public Safety announced new laundry and shower services on Wednesday for residents whose lives have been affected by recent flooding.

The mobile laundry and shower unit are both located at Century Bank Park on the Green in Lawrenceburg, officials said.

Services will reportedly be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day until April 22.

Residents were encouraged to bring their own toiletries and towels, but public safety officials said those items can be provided if necessary.
