(WPHL) — During National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week, Pennsylvania legislators are pushing the State Senate to pass HB 453, a bill that would reclassify 911 dispatchers as first responders.
The bill unanimously passed in the State House last week.
HB 453 aims to give dispatchers better access to mental health resources to better manage emergency calls.
