The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) posted on social media that around 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, deputies were dispatched to Jim Maggard Road near Lily in response to a complaint of a fight in the area.
A uniform citation shows that Samuel Clontz, 36, of Lily, had allegedly been involved in a fist-fight with his brother before running into a house he didn’t live in.
After getting permission from the property owner to enter the home, deputies discovered that Clontz had left through the back door.
Court documents show that after catching up to Clontz, he was tased twice and still allegedly refused arrest. Eventually, deputies took him into custody, but the LCSO wrote that he still pulled away from and “menaced” authorities.
Clontz was charged with the following:
He was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
