This is the second time in two years that Adams is sponsoring the contest. It’s open to all Kentucky students from kindergarten to 12th grade.
The winning design will be given to voters in participating counties during the 2026 primary election.
Interested students can send their designs through the “I Voted” sticker contest on the Kentucky Secretary of State website until 5 p.m. EST on May 23.
To be considered, pictures must be original work and include the words “I Voted.” The finalists will be chosen by the Secretary of State’s Office to go on a ballot, which will be voted on during the 2025 Kentucky State Fair.
The top selected design will be printed on stickers and sent to interested county clerks to provide to voters in May 2026.
Middle schooler Lillian Bonczkiewicz won the contest in 2024 with a design featuring the American flag and a horse.
