Event organizers say the classes will include weekly yoga and Tai Chi sessions in the scenic outdoor setting of Owensboro’s riverfront. Registration and experience is not required. These classes are designed to help participants improve both physical and mental well-being through movement, breathwork and mindfulness.
Spring yoga wellness classes
Organizers say this event will be led by certified yoga instructor Melissa Schoaff. This class will help participants connect breath to movement while working on posture, alignment and inner peace. All fitness levels welcome. Participants are encouraged, but are not required, to bring a yoga mat and beach towel.
Spring Tai Chi wellness classes
Event organizers invite people to join longtime fitness instructor Jan Young for beginner-friendly Tai Chi – a slow, flowing practice known to boost balance, coordination and focus. No experience necessary.
