Career Connection offers hands-on education in multiple disciplines. Subjects include art, athletic training, cooking, money management, technical theatre, computer information systems, healthcare, media, and industrial and technical engineering. Instructors will include NSU faculty and community professionals.
The camp is co-hosted by Northwestern’s Office of Counseling and Career Services, the Office of Recruiting, and the Division of Student Affairs.
Register for camp on the NSU website. Check-in begins at 7:30 each morning. Activities are from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on day one and 8 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. on day two. Campers should wear athletic shoes and clothes since they will walk to the buildings for sessions. An afternoon snack will be provided on both days, but campers should bring their lunch.
