As of Wednesday morning, $35,418 was raised for the Midwest Food Bank and the Gleaners Food Bank. The money will be used to help the two organizations with their mission of assisting thousands of Hoosiers who struggle with food insecurity.
Out of the total, $7,838 was raised for Gleaners and $2,850 was raised for Midwest. The remaining $25,000 came from corporate partners, including $5,000 from Financial Center and $20,000 from Kroger.
As part of Tuesday’s festivities, the news team engaged in various fun activities, including playing Family Feud, a B-52’s karaoke session and a balloon challenge.
