Portland-area DEQ locations reopening after cyberattack

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Portland-area DEQ locations are back online and will reopen Tuesday morning after a cyberattack shuttered its network operations and vehicle inspection stations earlier this week.

DEQ Too operations, however, will remain closed.

DEQ officials say they “worked through the weekend to address the cyber issues.”

There are still no signs of a data breach.

Portland-area DEQ locations will have regular hours on Tuesday, which start at 8:30 p.m.

“Please expect stations to be busier than usual,” officials said.
