Attorney General Lynn Fitch (R-Miss.) announced that Lonnie Coleman was found guilty of two counts of human trafficking and one count of possession with intent to transfer fentanyl.

On April 9, Hinds County Special Circuit Court Judge James Bell sentenced Coleman to 20 years for each count of human trafficking and eight years for possession with intent to transfer fentanyl for a total of 48 years to serve day-for-day without the possibility of parole in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections (MDOC).
