Local artists to shine at Marshall’s inaugural free art walk

MARSHALL, TX. (KTAL/KMSS)—The Art League of Marshall is preparing to spotlight local artists by hosting the city’s first-ever free art walk.

Fourteen businesses will showcase the work of 26 artists. Participating businesses will be marked with yellow balloons. The Marshall Regional Arts Council

will also be providing music at Telegraph Park.

The Art League of Marshall strives to “provide artists and emerging artists support, education, and the promotion of the arts.”

The free event is on Saturday, April 19, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and concludes with a raffle of donations from local businesses and artists at 92.3 The Depot.
