Court documents show that Johnathan Hall, 47, of Flat Lick, allegedly started two fires at a home on Binghamtown Hollow Road – one behind it and another underneath it – while a person was inside.
Deputies with the Knox County Sheriff’s Department (KCSD) wrote on Facebook that Hall allegedly left with the victim’s cell phone as well as their truck.
An arrest citation showed that deputies found the victim’s truck nearby with no gas in the tank before finding Hall walking down the road a short time later.
He was arrested and charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle – first offense, first-degree arson, and theft by unlawful taking.
Hall was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center on April 9.
