WGNO Good Morning New Orleans features reporter Bill Wood says it all starts with what’s called The Hotdog Safari.
It starts on Friday, April 18 and continues through Monday, April 21.
The Hotdog Safari is a yearly, multi-restaurant event.
It’s a competition for chefs around town.
You get a scorecard, travel from restaurant to restaurant and at the finish line, you help feed the need for food around New Orleans.
