One person shot at Ponchatoula Strawberry Festival, Festival closes
PONCHATOULA, La. (WGNO) —The Ponchatoula Strawberry Festival closed early Saturday, April 12, after one person was shot.
According to a social media post by the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office, one person was shot and the festival was closed for the rest of the day.
There is no word yet if the festival will continue on Sunday, April 13.
