2 hospitalized after apartment shooting in Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Two people were hospitalized following an apartment complex shooting in Fresno, the Fresno Police Department said.

Officers say they responded to a call for shots fired at an apartment in the area of Austin Way and Chestnut Avenue at 10:15 p.m. on Friday.

Upon arrival, they located two men who were suffering from gunshot wounds. They were both transported to a local hospital for treatment. Their condition is unknown at this time.

Per officers, further investigation determined that an unknown person was in the area when they shot at the apartments. A suspect has not been identified yet.
