PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Oregon DEQ’s is still closed Saturday after a cyberattack shuttered its network operations and vehicle inspection stations earlier this week.

Resorting vehicle inspection station services will be prioritized as DEQ works with the Department of Administrative Services Enterprise Information Services and Microsoft’s cybersecurity team to get its networks back online, according to a DEQ spokesperson.

However, in the meantime, DEQ’s systems are still down, which is impacting the agency’s ability to receive or send emails.

DEQ also adds “it may still be several days before business returns to normal.”

Meanwhile, the DEQ’s data information management system Your DEQ Online is still working for the public, since it’s on another server that has not been impacted by the cyberattack.

The cyberattack hit on Wednesday, closing services on Thursday and Friday.

Officials say there’s no evidence of a data breach at this time.
