TANGIPAHOA PARISH, La. (WGNO) — The U.S. Marshals service has asked for the public’s help tracking down a fugitive from Indiana.

Agents are currently searching for Antonio Lewis, Jr., who is wanted in Allen County in counts of alleged rape and child sex trafficking charges.

According to the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office Facebook post, Lewis is believed to be hiding out with family in Hammond.

Additionally, agents are also searching for his wife, Checole Janea Stewart-Lewis, who is believed to have “critical information that can help find him.”

Agents say Lewis, who at one point had dreadlocks, may have cut his hair. They also believe the couple may be traveling with his mother and father.
