On April 11, just after midnight, authorities arrived in the 800 block of Daisyfield Road for reports of a woman threatening another woman with a knife. During the investigation, officials spoke with Garrison about the situation.
Officers heard multiple voices coming from a shed that he lives in and ordered two women out. Deputies then searched the shed and found a rifle that was hidden in the wall, covered by a blanket.
Garrison was wanted in Stephenson County and is also a registered felon for his involvement in a burglary in 1990.
Garrison is charged with possession of a firearm without a FOID and felon possession of a weapon.
