1 killed after 32 rounds fired in Fresno
FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A man was pronounced dead following a shooting in Fresno on Thursday, the Fresno Police Department said.

Officers say they responded to the area of George and Bardell avenues in Fresno just after 5 p.m. on Thursday regarding a person suffering from a gunshot wound.

Police say the person, a man in his mid-20s, was immediately transported to a local hospital, where he was receiving treatment. Officers say the man was pronounced dead.

Upon further investigation, the police department says 32 rounds were fired. Additionally, some witnesses alerted law enforcement regarding a person hopping over fences in the area.

This is an ongoing investigation. More information will be released as it becomes available.
