“I am extremely proud of my guys and how they played,” Wilson said. “They have worked hard throughout the season to be peaking at the right time.”
Wallace State shot a 372 (+5) in the opening round and was tied with Central Alabama heading into Round 2. The Lions stayed consistent in the second round, shooting a 373 (+6) to secure the victory. Central Alabama shot a 380 (+13) to finish second.
Cole Lindeman led Wallace by shooting 70 and 73 for a total of 143 (-1). He shot -2 in round one. He was named the Tournament Medalist and was also named to the All-Tournament Team. Tristan Tidemann was also named to the All-Tournament Team after shooting 148 (+4). He shot a -1 in round two.
Lindemann and Sam Mitchell were also named to the All-Conference Team following the tournament.

The Lions will travel to Ol’ Colony Golf Club in Tuscaloosa for the District Golf Tournament April 21-22. The tournament will include teams from Regions 8, 10, 17 and 22. It will include seven teams ranked in Top 25 in the nation.
