The high pressure will not only bring dry weather to the forecast but also come with the return of even warmer temperatures. Highs on Thursday and Friday will climb to about 10-20° above average.
This will mean highs in the upper 70s to low 80s across the Wasatch Front, and highs in the upper 80s to lower 90s for southwest Utah. Temperatures in both St. George and Salt Lake will be flirting with record numbers during the afternoon hours.
A slightly stronger cold front arrives Saturday evening, bringing a very slight rain chance Saturday night into Sunday morning, but more significantly, much cooler temperatures for our Sunday. Highs on Sunday will only be in the 50s across the north, and in the 70s across southern Utah.
Stay tuned!
