The Graves County Sheriff’s Office said it worked with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office to execute a search warrant around 3 p.m. on Monday near State Route 534.
According to a news release, detectives found and seized multiple devices with hundreds of images and/or videos of minors, believed to be under 12, in “acts that were deemed as sexual in nature.”
Authorities said detectives called 60-year-old Mark A. Cunningham, telling him authorities were at his home and asking him to come home.
“He stated that he would, however, he never showed,” the sheriff’s office wrote.
Reportedly, Cunningham was arrested around 10 a.m. Wednesday while his home was under surveillance.
Authorities said he was taken to an out-of-county detention center and charged with distribution of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor (under the age of 12).
The investigation is ongoing.
