Drone footage from Ohio sheriff’s office shows flooding around Cincinnati stadiums

CINCINNATI, Ohio. (FOX 56) — Just across the Ohio River, the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) released drone video showing the extent of the flooding around two stadiums where the Cincinnati Reds and Bengals play.

“HCSO partnered with Hamilton County Emergency Management and Homeland Security Agency to provide aerial surveillance of flooding along the banks of the Ohio River,” the sheriff’s office wrote on Facebook on Tuesday.

Floodwaters have started to recede, but law enforcement said that the roads near Paycor Stadium and the Great American Ballpark are still closed.

The Reds will return to action on Friday night, and officials are encouraging fans to plan thoroughly. Parking garages are reopening, but expect delays, and be sure to follow all detours.

The first pitch for the Reds is set for 6:40 p.m. on Friday.
