NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The City of New Orleans has announced a series of street closures for the 2025 French Quarter Festival.
City officials said the temporary street closures come as part of the public safety plan for the festival happening April 10 through April 13.
According to the city, the following streets will be closed to vehicular traffic:
- Royal Street from Conti Street to St. Peter Street
- Decatur Street from Conti Street to St. Peter Street
- Bourbon Street from Canal Street to Dumaine Street
The streets will re-open on Monday, April 14, around 7 a.m.
Additionally, water-filled barricades will be placed at different locations in the area.
This year’s cashless event is set to include more than 300 musicians, 22 stages and more than 70 food and drink vendors.
