All because Topete just got another name.
He’s an award winner and just one of three in his school’s history to earn the Legion of Valor Award.
“It’s an amazing honor and I don’t think it’s fully hit just how big this award is,” said Topete.
The word “valor” means you are brave and strong.
“I would define valor as having the integrity and honor to make the right decision,’ said Topete.
After graduating with his cadet class of 2025, he heads to college with plans to become a jet fighter pilot defending America’s freedom, fueled with new Orleans valor.
