The new Supercenter will be located on the corner of SR-73 and Spring Run Parkway. While officials did not give an exact date for opening, the store is scheduled to open in “late summer” 2025 with a grand opening ceremony.
The new Supercenter will include full grocery, as well as apparel, toys, home and electronics, a fuel station, and online shopping and pickup. Officials say, once completed, the store will bring 300 new jobs to the Eagle Mountain area.
“We are thrilled to welcome Walmart to Eagle Mountain,” said Mayor Tom Westmoreland. “This new addition marks a significant milestone in our city’s growth and progress. Walmart’s presence will not only provide convenient access to goods and services for our residents, but it will also create jobs and strengthen our local economy.”
The new Walmart will also come with some planned construction for nearby roadways. Officials said construction includes dual left-turn lanes into the Walmart area on Spring Run Parkway. Ranches Parkway will also be improved to help north-south traffic flow and provide access to Campus Drive.
Walmart is expected to begin hiring to fill positions at the new locations in May.
