HINDS COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – Authorities have blocked all lanes on Interstate 55 North between Byram and Terry after two 18-wheelers were involved in a crash.

The crash occurred on I-55 North past the Wynndale Road exit around 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 8.

Byram Police Chief David Errington said injuries have been reported. He said the Mississippi Highway Patrol (MHP) is leading the investigation.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
