Temps expected to dip into 20’s in Philadelphia area

(WPHL)– After a blustery cold Tuesday, we are in for an even colder night. With clear skies and winds expected to calm, temperatures are expected to dive below freezing and into the 20s.

“If the temperature reaches 29 at PHL Airport, it will be the latest temp that cold since 2018, when it was 29 on April 11th.”  Reports the  National Weather Service Mount Holly.

With these cold temperatures and much in the growing season, it’s smart to protect any outdoor vegetation on Wednesday morning. Highs on Wednesday will only get into the upper 40s/low 50s.  Temperatures won`t begin to moderate until Wednesday night.
