Cronin has held the position since Dec. 3, 2021, after previous GM Neil Olshey was fired and Cronin was named as interim. Cronin was officially given the position on May 10, 2022.
Cronin has been at the forefront of reshaping the entire Blazers’ roster, which included the trade of star Damian Lillard back on Sept. 27, 2023.

Cronin has led the Blazers in the last three drafts as well, which have brought in Shaedon Sharpe, Scoot Henderson, Donovan Clingan, Jabari Walker and Kris Murray to name a few.
