Tuesday promises to be another chilly day by early April standards. A wintry chill will greet residents who head out early in the morning when widespread temperatures in the 20s will be common. Afternoon highs won’t rebound very much despite the day’s mostly sunny skies.

Highs are only expected to reach the lower to perhaps middle 40s at warmer inland locations, while areas close to Lake Michigan shiver in the 30s.

Cloud cover will increase in the evening hours with continued chilly conditions.
