Henry Williams III, 37, was found guilty by a jury in November 2024 on charges of second-degree murder, illegal use of a weapon during a crime of violence and two counts of attempted first-degree murder.
Court records show he was sentenced to 999 years for the murder charge, 25 years for each charge of attempted murder and 10 years for the illegal use of a weapon charge.
According to arrest documents, deputies responded to W. Chalfont Drive on May 14, 2022, where Williams’s neighbor, Ronald LeDuff, 25, was found shot. LeDuff later died from his injuries.
SWAT and crisis negotiators tried to get Williams to surrender himself after he barricaded himself in his home. He shot at SWAT and deputies. Shots were returned by deputies and Williams was struck and taken into custody. He was taken to a hospital for treatment.
