89th Masters Tournament | Tuesday updates
AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) – After Masters week began with a day of rain on Monday, Augusta National Golf Club is bathed in sunshine for Tuesday’s practice round.

Due to inclement weather on Monday that caused the patron gates to close for the day at 11:25 a.m., Tuesday represents the first opportunity for golfers to play the course and begin their preparation for the 89th Masters Tournament.

I think that just goes into what makes this place so historic and so amazing to be here.”

Tuesday also brings a full schedule in the Press Building, with many of the world’s top-ranked players addressing the media, including including defending champion Scottie Scheffler and 2023 champion Jon Rahm.

Tuesday night another Masters tradition will continue with the Champions Dinner, hosted by Scheffler, during which former winners of the tournament will have a choice of ribeye steak or blackened redfish for the main course.
