University of Kentucky says 4 students have had their visas revoked

LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — The University of Kentucky announced that the Department of Homeland Security has revoked F-1 student visas for some international graduate students.

In a letter to campus, President Eli Capilouto said university officials immediately reached out to students in these circumstances to provide information and support.

Capilouto said the university is also working to understand changing federal policies.

“The university will always comply with the law. We also will make abundantly clear that our more than 1,300 international students and scholars are valued members of this special community,” Capilouto said.
